  Quit Coach

Here’s what you can expect and how to sign up.

Who will be my Quit Coach?
Once your Quit Coach Sign Up Form is received, you will receive a call from a Quit Coach. A Quit Coach is someone trained in helping people quit smoking. Many Quit Coaches are former smokers, so they know better than to nag or judge. AND they know what works. A Quit Coach will help you make a game plan for quitting, then see you through to the end.

When will my Quit Coach call? I don't have time between classes.
A Quit Coach will call you within 1 week of receiving your Quit Coach Sign Up Form. Quit Coaches are available from early morning to late evening on weekdays, and mid-morning to late afternoon on weekends. Really, you can schedule calls at times that you request. And you can also call in any time to talk with a Quit Coach if you have questions or need a pep talk.

How long do the calls take? I don't want to burn through my cell minutes.
Calls with a Quit Coach are quick and to the point, usually 10-15 minutes. It's all about what works for you.

How many calls will I receive?
In the first few minutes of the first call a Quit Coach will develop a quit plan with you. You'll then have four more scheduled calls with a Quit Coach to help you stay the course - all at times that suit your schedule and your cell plan.

Who will know that I've talked with a Quit Coach?
The Quit Coach will not give your name or other personal information to anyone without your explicit permission. Your personal information is completely protected by us and by the law.

What about the patch or gum?
Quit Coaches will help you figure out which quit aid (patch, gum, or lozenge) will work best for you and how to get it. They may even be able to mail you a supply of the quit aid you choose. Insurance co-pays or deductibles may apply. Once you get the patch or other quit aid, a Quit Coach can walk you through when and how to use it so that it's most effective.

What's the cost?
It costs nothing to talk with a Quit Coach. And by that we mean, it's free!
